I used to be a newspaper reporter and editor for various publications, lastly the suburban Daily Herald. And then chief spokesman for Illinois Attorney General Jim Ryan and later for U.S. Senator Peter Fitzgerald. I'm now president of Curry Public Strategies, Inc., and have clients in the political world and some in the real world.
